Partners

Stats and Maps is the local intelligence service of the Pride Partnership, Rochdale Borough’s Local Strategic Partnership (LSP). The Pride Partnership aims to bring together local public, private, community and voluntary organisations operating within the council boundary. They work with the local community to identify and tackle key issues such as crime, unemployment, education, health and housing in a co-ordinated manner.

The Pride Partnership has been in place for seven years and has undergone several changes in that time. In 2008/09 a review of the Partnership was undertaken to ensure it was operating as efficiently as possible. This coincided with Government action to strengthen the roles of LSPs and to ensure that all of the partners were really involved. One of the outcomes of this review has been the creation of the Local Public Service Board.

Local Public Service Board

The Local Public Service Board provides vision, leadership, challenge and innovation for the Pride Partnership. It is the strategic overall decision making body responsible for agreeing and establishing borough wide priorities. Its membership is composed of influential people who want to make positive change happen in the borough. They have control and responsibility for the direction and development of services and the allocation of resources within their organisations.

The board is made up of 13 members coming from the following organisations or sectors:

NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale
Job Centre Plus
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service
Greater Manchester Police
Voluntary and Community Sector Partnership
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing
Link4Life
Rochdale Development Agency
